Who are AR?

Altered Realities are a creative team harnessing technologies like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and 3D scanning. AR focus on innovation, empowering agencies, marketers, and brands to explore new dimensions, seamlessly integrating products and services from a vision to reality. By harnessing cutting-edge technology, Altered Realities transports audiences to extraordinary digital landscapes, creating unforgettable interactions that engage and inspire.

The Challenge:

The founders of Altered Realities came to Bopgun with a clear vision: a brand identity that was bold, iconic, and deeply rooted in the urban digital culture of the millennium. They wanted a logo that reflected the raw and experimental spirit of the graphic design and music scenes of that time. Beyond digital, the brand had to feel at home on apparel, embodying the style and attitude of street fashion.

Design Solution:

With Ossian and Mike’s clear vision for the company’s identity, we aimed to create a mark that embodied simplicity and versatility. The design needed to be dynamic—capable of glitching and evolving in motion—while remaining instantly recognisable across all mediums, from apparel and stickers to motion graphics and other marketing materials.

As with any design process, we explored numerous iterations, continually refining the mark by simplifying its form.
We ultimately opted for a softer, more approachable design, moving away from sharp, hard-edged concepts. This brand lent itself to the creation of engaging icons that relate to AR and the world of three dimensions, capturing the fun and excitement of the field.
