Should you be integrating AI into your marketing strategy?
16th February 2023
With AI (artificial intelligence) being very on-trend, we thought we should put its abilities to the test.
So, we asked AI to write us this piece based on the title: “Should you be integrating AI into your marketing strategy?”
When discussing the abilities of AI in marketing, why not test it properly and let it write a blog post? That way, you can see first-hand how you could implement it into your marketing.
We even generated images using AI too – can you guess whose who?
We’ll round up at the end with our pros and pitfalls of the whole AI process.
Anyway, onto the blog…
Should you be integrating AI into your marketing strategy?
Greetings, fellow marketing enthusiasts! Are you tired of spending countless hours on menial tasks like analysing data, sending repetitive emails, and even creating social media posts? Fear not, for AI is here to save the day – and maybe even your sanity!
Here’s how AI can add some humour to your marketing strategy:
Personalisation gone wild
AI can analyse customer data and provide personalised recommendations, offers, and messaging. Think about it – you’ll finally be able to send that joke about llamas to the right customer!
Social media management with style
With AI scheduling and optimising your posts for maximum engagement, you’ll finally have time for that mid-day cat video break.
Data analysis made fun
AI can analyse mountains of data in a flash, providing insights and patterns that will have you laughing all the way to the bank.
Chatbots that can crack a joke
AI-powered chatbots can handle customer queries around the clock, giving your customer service team more time to perfect their stand-up routine.
Put the ‘Art’ in ‘Marketing’
With AI-powered image creation, marketers can take their visual content game to the next level without having to spend hours creating new images or editing existing ones. You can finally unleash your inner Picasso (or your inner Bob Ross, if that’s more your speed). So sit back, relax, and let the machines do the heavy lifting – after all, isn’t that what they were made for?
Ad targeting with flair
AI can analyse customer behaviour and provide insights to improve ad targeting, resulting in higher engagement and conversions. And who doesn’t love a well-targeted ad for pizza?
Overall, AI is a real hoot in the world of marketing, providing efficient solutions to common challenges and helping businesses reach new heights – all while keeping the humour alive! So why wait? Start incorporating AI into your marketing strategy today, and enjoy the ride!
Our thoughts
Well, it’s certainly something! Now for a human opinion… Could you tell it was written by AI?
Naturally, the AI bot appears slightly biased, boasting about its time-saving capabilities and even using humour!
There are, however, some evident pros to integrating AI into your marketing strategy, one being this blog. It’s pretty impressive what it’s been able to compile together, and could work as a basis for you to go on to edit, develop and fact-check.
The images AI was able to create are pretty amazing – you only need a few prompts, and suddenly you’re a superhero. For marketing, this could help spark your imagination if you’re looking for some new ideas for content. The only pitfall is that you have to toggle around with the prompts and revise a few images before there’s a decent one.
Moreover, AI can only work with the prompts you give. It doesn’t have its own thoughts and ideas, so you need an initial vision before you begin, meaning you can’t rely on it entirely – there needs to be an element of human skill.
If you’re on the fence, we don’t blame you. Suddenly, a bot could do your job for you. But, the one thing it can’t do is add genuine personality. Yes, it can collect information and tell jokes, but does it have your flare? No.
While it’s an efficient tool for content creation and kickstarting marketing ideas, using it with a pinch of salt is much more advised than using it solely. You never know where the data is coming from or if it is, in fact, true!
Are you fed up with feeling like you’re talking with the mic off? Ignoring image guidelines on social media could be causing this – read our blog post to get up to speed with the current size requirements.
