Introducing Jake – Our new Studio Designer
9th February 2018
It’s the new year and we have ourselves a new member of the Bopgun team! We’re excited to introduce Jake – our new creative designer. With experience in both print and digital we’ve thrown him in the deep end, getting stuck into designing some great launch materials for one of our clients. We thought you might like to learn a little more about Jake so here are some questions we asked to get to know him a little better.
Describe yourself in 3 words
Adventurous, Creative and Sociable
Tell us a bit more about what you’ve done before
I grew up in Cornwall where I attended Falmouth University studying Graphic Design. After graduating I moved to London, working in creative agencies for 5 years. Over this time I worked on household brands as well as little start-ups in both print and digital. Ready for a change I moved to Bristol last month, before starting work at Bopgun.
Why do you love your job?
I love not knowing what I’m going to be doing from week to week. Being able to work on a variety of creative challenges really excites me. Creativity equals progress.
Which is your favourite design tool?
A pencil – the possibilities are endless.
What 3 things couldn’t you live without?
The Ocean, Photography and Music.
What do you think of Bopgun so far?
Bopgun are a creative and friendly bunch of people with a great attitude towards work. (They also drink a lot of tea and coffee).
